For makers

Sell your 3D prints. Keep your full price.

List what you print and what you design. Buyers see your price with our 20% service fee included, so the price you set is the price you receive — and we handle payments, shipping labels and buyer support.

Apply to sell

Free to apply. No listing fees and no monthly fee. Every maker is reviewed before their first listing goes live.

What you can sell

Four ways to earn from a printer.

  • Made to order

Print each piece when it is bought. You set the production time, and the buyer sees it before paying.

  • Ready to ship

Pieces already printed and waiting. You set how many you have, and stock counts down as they sell.

  • Bundles

Group items into a set at one price — a kit, a collection, parts that belong together.

  • Digital files

Sell your designs as files buyers download and print themselves. Accepted formats: STL, OBJ, PLY, 3MF, GLB, GLTF.

Build on other work

Someone else's design, your printer.

Every digital file here is sold under one of two licences, Personal or Commercial. The licence decides what you may do with the file, and it is shown on the file's page before you buy.

Sell prints of a Commercial file
Buy a file with a Commercial licence and sell as many prints of it as you like, with nothing more to pay the designer. Link your listing to the licence and it shows as a licensed print, crediting the designer. The licence covers the prints: the file itself is for you alone.
Adapt any file for yourself
Resize it, repair it, tune it to your printer. Every file you buy here may be modified for your own use, under either licence.
Print designs from elsewhere
A model from another site can be sold as prints when its licence allows commercial sale. Check the licence first and give the credit it asks for, because many free models are for personal use only.
Designers: let printers sell for you
Offer a design under the Commercial licence and every maker who buys it can print it and sell the prints, with your name on every one. Price the licence for what it is worth to a business.

Neither licence lets anyone sell, share or republish the file itself, changed or not.

How you earn

Your price is your price.

You set the price and you receive all of it. Buyers see it with our 20% service fee included, and the fee never comes out of yours. Deliver on time, hold the Reliable maker badge, and part of that fee comes back to you.

What you receive on a $100.00 item, by reward tier
TierReward pointsBonusBuyer paysYou receive
Gold150++3%$120.00$103.00
Silver75++2%$120.00$102.00
Bronze25++1%$120.00$101.00

An order earns a reward point when it is delivered on time with no refund or dispute and has at least $15 of items, up to 2 a month from the same buyer. Points count for 365 days, your tier follows the points you have active, and its bonus is paid while you hold the Reliable maker badge.

Item price only. Shipping and tax are shown to the buyer separately.

What we handle

The parts of selling that aren't printing.

Payments
Buyers pay by card through Stripe. Card processing comes out of our fee — it is not charged to you.
Shipping labels
We buy the label from our own carrier account. When the buyer pays for shipping, the postage costs you nothing.
Fixed shipping quotes
Shipping is quoted from the real parcel at checkout and then fixed. If the carrier charges more when the label is bought, the difference is ours.
Disputes and refunds
Disputes and refunds go to our support desk, so a disagreement with a buyer is not yours to settle alone.
If you offer free shipping
The postage is then yours to cover. It is authorised when you pack the order and charged only once a label is actually bought — never more than the quote.

Where you can sell

Across Canada, and further for files.

Printed items

Ship to buyers anywhere in Canada. Every maker is in Canada and parcels never cross the border, so your buyers never pay customs or duty.

Digital files

Sell your digital files to buyers in Canada and the United States. There is nothing to ship.

Getting paid

When your money arrives.

Earnings are held for 7 days after delivery, or 30 days for digital files — the window in which a buyer can raise a problem. After that they are released to your bank through Stripe.

When a transfer lands is set by your bank, not by us. You can follow every payout from your seller dashboard.

Questions

What makers ask first.

What are the platform fees?

Platform fees are: - Service fee: 20% of the item price, included in every price buyers see. Sellers receive their full asking price; this fee is paid by the buyer, not deducted from you. - Payment processing: 2.9% + $0.30, absorbed by Threeprinted out of the service fee — it is not charged to you or to the buyer. These fees cover payment processing, platform maintenance, customer support, dispute resolution, and the promotions and seller rewards funded from them.

When do sellers receive payments?

Sellers are paid after: 1. The carrier confirms delivery 2. 7 days pass from that delivery date — the window for a buyer to raise a problem. Confirming receipt closes the order, but it does not shorten this wait. 3. The payment settles in your balance. A charge is not available the moment it is taken, so an order can be past its holdback and still not ready to send. 4. We release it to your bank. Once it has been released, when it lands is set by your bank rather than by us. To see a payout and the date it is expected, open your seller dashboard and choose “Manage on Stripe” in the Payouts card. The service fee is not deducted from your price — the buyer paid it at checkout.

How do I price my items?

Consider these factors when pricing: - Material cost - Production time - Printer wear and electricity - Your expertise and design work - Market competition You receive your full price. Buyers see it with the 20% service fee already included, so there is no need to build it into yours. Research similar items to ensure competitive pricing.

What file formats are supported for 3D models?

Digital files can be uploaded in these formats: STL, OBJ, PLY, 3MF, GLB, GLTF. Each file can be up to 50 MB. Ensure your models are manifold and print-ready.

Do you ship internationally?

Not for printed items. Every seller ships from Canada and printed orders are delivered within Canada only, so a printed order never crosses a border and never carries customs fees. Digital files are different: they can be bought and downloaded from Canada or the United States.

Your 3D printer could be earning.

Applying takes a few minutes, and there is nothing to pay.
